The post about a training schedule, a couple of bad influences and Lilith...



  • It's #smoothietime. Chugging this bad boy down then hitting the gym with my trainer. I used berries instead of banana today and omitted the nut butter. It made a ton of smoothie. I can't drink it all. I slept funny because my neck is stiff. Nothing leg day won't sort:-) No lounging with coffee this morning. As soon as I'm done at the gym, I gotta get home, dressed and out the door. I need to be in the office for 9:30am this morning. I've got a guest speaker from Planned Parenthood coming out to speak to my youth this morning. Can't be late for that! It's always a fun and hilarious presentation...



I was at mu highest weight on the left. 330+ pounds...


  • It's #transformationtuesday and I'm also dubbing this #thickthighs Tuesday. Legs are fatigued today. I had a great workout with Tony this morning. He helped me work plan a training schedule for the week. Besides seeing him on Tuesday and Thursday, I'm going to go to the gym on my own on Sunday and I'm going to run and do circuits on Saturday. He told me that doing that and running a couple more days a week will get me in great shape for boxing training (I hope) in December. And he also said that in 6 months, my body will be very different than it is now. 
  • He said that I need to stop focusing on getting lean because I've no where to lose. I'm not sure I concur with that statement. I've definitely got extra fluff on my stomach and hips. He said my legs are muscular and my upper body just needs strengthening. And the rest of me needs toning which will happen as I get stronger. He told me that I already eat healthy and I just to cut back on fats and to make sure I'm eating enough calories. That's how I'm going to build lean muscle. So I'll follow the diet plan of my nutritionist which is high protein, low fat and has some complex carbs. I'll still track just to be aware of my fat and carb percentages for the day. 
  • Tony and another trainer, Roger, spoke to me about my body goals and it's funny how I see myself versus how they see me. I see problem areas, they see muscle. But I'm also wearing compression gear. Compression gear is a girl's best friend...





  • Tuesday night #Winetime with these girls. I'm not gonna lie. I'm eating cheese, soprassata and nuts and I'm not logging my food. I'm sure I'm way over my caloric allowance. Sue me! No please don't. I've no disposable cash. I'm making myself run in the morning. It's the law of weekly winetime. This means I must be in bed by 11pm. Clearly my sister and Amy are bad influences on me. Both are huge lushes who force feed me wine. True story. I'm switching to glide, but first I'll switch to water...



My sister calls her Lily, I call her Lilith...


  • Remember Lily (to be called Lilith from now on)? She's 10 weeks old now and still super adorbs. She's a licker and a toe biter. She hasn't really gotten bigger since I last saw her but she has gotten fluffier. One of these days I may just smuggle her out of my sister's house in my computer bag. Just for a day. I miss having a dog, but I'm still not ready. When I get another one, it will be an older dog from a rescue and only after my cats are gone, Bringing a dog into this house with Smitty would kill her for sure. She's a very nervous and unwelcoming cat. And I need to keep her around as long as possible. She's my haiku muse...

  1. That pup is just too cute! Yay for wine time! I think we all tend to nitpick our problem areas (I just have one large problem area all over my body. lol). Trust your trainers on this one.
